I suffered with cystic acne from puberty, until I was 28 years old. Constant dryness and sensitivity to fragrance and moisturizers compounded the problem. The cysts were very painful, never healed properly, and I contstantly struggled with low self esteem and the frustration of feeling that it was my fault that I had this problem.
